Mr. Copping is an Oracle Database 12c, 11g, 10g, 9i and 8i database administrator with DBA certification with 16 years of experience in advanced information systems, including project management and the development of large-scale projects using state-of-the-art database management systems. He has experience in the use of client/server, mid-range, and Unix, plus tools such as PowerBuilder and Visual BASIC; databases such as Oracle11g, Oracle10g, Oracle9i, Oracle8i, Oracle8, Oracle7 and ADABAS/NATURAL; and extensive experience in large database online transaction processing systems.
Other skills Mr. Copping brings to information systems projects include experience in all phases of the system development life cycle, with particular emphasis in application design and database design. Mr. Copping also has extensive knowledge in the areas of client/server computing, LANs, object oriented analysis and design, online analytical processing (OLAP), telecommunications, and the Internet. Systems designed by Mr. Copping feature ease-of-use for users (screen design), selection of appropriate tools for productivity (programming tools and languages), and performance (knowledge of database access issues).

Mr. Copping has always had an excellent relationship with those he assists in improving their productivity in the use of information technology and information systems.
Mr. Copping's tasks at SAIC included Oracle database administration and the design and build of a PowerBuilder prototype of an insurance risk trading system for the insurance property and casualty industry and the design of a portfolio reporting system (client/server with Sybase) for a large mortgage security corporation. Prior SAIC assignments included database application support for the Energy Information Administration's Petroleum Marketing Division's redesign of the Form EIA-782 project.
At CSC, Mr. Copping is the Corporate MIS DBA with responsibilities encompassing 5 Oracle9i databases, 22 Oracle8i databases, several Oracle8 databases, all based in both Unix and NT Server environments.
